Already one month since the beginning of 2024!

We are entering the 33rd day of the year and the motorcycle show is in 22 days…  It is starting to smell of impatience, but as John Snow does not say “Summer is coming! » Well, I recognize that, as for ¾ of motorcyclists, the lack sets in and the slightest opportunity to celebrate this universe, or to create equipment needs, is seized. However, I still have a few days left before I can get back on the handlebars of my Africa Twin and set off to explore the roads of Quebec.

On the other hand, it is the perfect time to prepare the next adventure for the benefit of Multiple Sclerosis research. Always with the aim of showing you landscapes that are out of the ordinary, of making you travel alongside me, this year, I will cover 5,200 km of road, almost half of which will be “in the middle of nowhere”. with some long sections of gravel. All while camping, wild or not, because after all it’s an adventure, right?

So I’m taking you on the journey of Expedition 51 to discover Newfoundland and Labrador. For this, I will spend a night at the Pointe-aux-Outardes campsite then I will take the 389 which will allow me to revisit the Manic 5 and then take the 500 and 510. We will then discover the province of Terre- Neuve-Et-Labrador, a world of excess with long roads without a soul in sight. Then, once you arrive in Blanc-Sablon and after going to the end of Route 389 on this side, I will take the ferry to explore Newfoundland and its Viking village. We will go to the provincial parks to enjoy nature then take another ferry for a 7-hour ride, at night, to reach the mainland in Nova Scotia. From there, I will begin the return journey via the Cabot Trail, then up New Brunswick.

We will therefore travel through 4 provinces over 13 days for a minimum of 5,200 km and very often without cell phone opening. This means that I might not be able to post an article every night, but I'll try.

I hope this adventure will disorient you as much as it will disorient me.

Merci de me suivre!
