Where the Coast Meets the Horizon: A Journey for MS
The asphalt blurs beneath the wheels of my Africa Twin, each engine vibration resonating like a promise in the morning silence. For me, this journey to Nova Scotia is not just a scenic wander. It is a deeply human challenge, a quest for purpose. “Every single kilometre must count,” I repeat to myself inside my helmet. Every turn of the wheel along the wild coastlines and rugged capes is a symbolic victory dedicated to everyone fighting multiple sclerosis day after day. My jou

Day 7: Mechanical quirks, Route 132, and the final sprint home!
A peaceful little wake-up call around 6:00 AM this morning, rocked by the singing of birds... and the barking of the neighbors' dog at the campground. To my great surprise, the inside of the tent is perfectly dry. It’s cool out, but we managed to escape the usual dampness of this kind of night. An excellent surprise! On the flip side, technology is still giving me the cold shoulder. After fighting once again to add pictures to yesterday's post—without much success—I head outs

Day 6: A rolling shower, saving a semi-truck, and an intense return to Quebec!
The night was short and uncomfortable. You might tell me that this kind of inconvenience happens when camping, and that’s very true. The problem was that I was staying at a hotel from a well-known, major chain where you legitimately expect a bare minimum of comfort. I was freezing all night, and there wasn’t a single extra blanket in the room—not even in the closet where you usually find them. I actually had to pull out my own camping sleeping bag just to warm up! As for brea

Day 5: Forced wakeup, chills at Cape Forchu, and a near-disaster parking!
I had originally decided to treat myself to a sleeping-in until 6:30 AM this morning. That was without counting on the guest in the room next door, who woke up with unparalleled enthusiasm around 4:30 or 5:00 AM... Long story short: by 6:00 AM sharp, I was already up, clean, and holding a steaming cup of coffee! The inn's soap smelled so good that there was no way I was going back to bed after my shower. Besides, after only 5.5 hours of sleep, that little boost was welcome. T

Day 4: Mystic fog, intense twisties, and Shelburne's legendary welcome!
This morning, after an excellent night's sleep rocked by the sound of the waves and wrapped in nicely cool temperatures, it was time to pack up... but not just yet! The entire landscape was plunged into a thick fog, the outside of the tent was soaking wet, and the humidity had found its way inside. In these conditions, the absolute top priority was a good hot coffee. You have to keep your priorities straight! ☕ If you're going to have a coffee, you might as well take your tim

Day 3: Lighthouse hunting, secret routes, and the Atlantic chill!
It had been quite a while since I last went camping, and it definitely showed! My night under the tent wasn’t exactly the most restful. Between tossing and turning, my sleeping pad sliding around, and that annoying feeling of being too hot then too cold... long story short, my sleep was pretty broken. And that’s not even counting the infamous mosquito hunt once all the lights were out. There is always that one mosquito that comes buzzing right around your ear! When the alarm

Day 2: From smuggler's routes to Nova Scotia!
After a scheduled 6:00 AM wake-up call, I finally rolled out of bed around 6:30 AM. My day kicked off with a memorable battle against the shower faucet—stabilizing the temperature was completely impossible, as the hot and cold water stubbornly refused to work together! After downing a minimalist breakfast consisting of a protein shake and a few nuts, it was time to pack up the Africa Twin once again and hit the road. Well, I still had to wait for a train to pass first—likely

Day 1: And we’re off to Nova Scotia!
The big day is finally here! The panniers are packed, the tank is full, and the Africa Twin is raring to go. This motorcycle trip to Nova Scotia isn't just a simple cruise on the asphalt: it's a personal challenge I'm taking on to support multiple sclerosis (MS) research. Every single kilometer ridden is dedicated to those who fight this disease every day. Get comfortable, because I'm taking you along for this first chapter! Today was all about making headway. A New Adventure to Stop MS… Heading for Nova Scotia
Hello everyone, Some projects are born from passion. Others come to life through a cause. And sometimes, the two come together to create something greater than ourselves. That is exactly why I’m here today to tell you about my next fundraiser in support of the fight against multiple sclerosis. Since the beginning of this journey, every kilometer traveled, every turn taken, every sunrise on the road has meant far more than just another ride. Behind the helmet, behind the motor
